Draw out your garden border using the on-screen Drawing Tools.
This software is not a landscape design tool – the emphasis is on creating planting schemes for your borders.
However, do check out the extensive Help features – there is a wealth of information to help you make decisions about the overall look of your garden, including articles on General Layout, Garden Styles, Disguising Garden Shapes and many more.
Use the Pre-positioned Plants screen to position existing plants - around which you can then generate your plan.
5. The Plan
When you are happy with all your choices, your tailor-made planting plan is generated and displayed on this screen.
Not sure if it’s the right one for you? Create another one …. And another….
Each plan comes with colour photographs, descriptions and full maintenance advice for individual plants.
The maintenance schedule provides a useful guide to prioritising garden jobs for the time-pressed gardener, by differentiating between significant, beneficial and low priority tasks. Detailed and specific information is provided for every plant, including advice on watering, mulching, feeding, pruning, cutting back, staking, winter protection and dividing.
