Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

A cookie is a commonly used automated data collection tool. Cookies are small text files that are placed in the web browser on your computer or device by websites that you visit in order to make websites work, or to work more efficiently.

This website stores cookies on your device. Most of these are needed to make our website work properly, such as the shopping function and security features. Other cookies are used to collect information about how you interact with our website, to provide social media features and to improve our marketing efforts.

There are several different kinds of cookies we store in your browser when you visit our website:

Essential Cookies

These are cookies that are necessary for the website to work correctly. Among the essential functions they perform, are:

  • enabling the ecommerce side of the website to work if you choose to purchase our software
  • making the reCAPTCHA control work effectively on the contact pages
  • storing your preferences for optional cookies

These cookies cannot be switched off. They do not store any personally identifiable information.

Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us determine how well our website is performing - how often people visit, which pages they view most, whether they watch our videos, etc. This data is aggregated, so no individual user is identifiable. We use this information to improve our website.

You can choose to disable these cookies (see below).

Social Media Cookies

Social media providers such as Facebook and Pinterest use cookies to track your browsing interests, in order to suggest content for you, and for advertising purposes. If you have an account with Facebook or Pinterest, they use these cookies to track your visit to our website. The cookies do not store directly personal information but allow Facebook and/or Pinterest to identify you if you have a profile with them.

You can choose to disable these cookies (see below), but some social media features (such as Pinterest Pins) may no longer work.

Choosing which Cookies to Allow

Our website includes a cookie management tool that allows you to choose which cookies to allow. It is opened by clicking or tapping the “Change cookie preferences” link at the bottom of each page of this website – you can change your choice of allowed cookies at any time.

If you change your mind and remove consent for a certain type of cookie, our website will no longer connect and share data with cookies of that type - even if they have previously been saved to your browser.

In this case, you may wish to also delete the existing cookies saved in your web browser. This is easy to do. Every web browser has a way to delete cookies. The functionality is typically available in the “settings” or “options” for your browser – look at the help for each web browser to find the relevant instructions.

In the same place, you can also adjust your browser settings to reject cookies. However, if you block one of the essential cookies used by our website, we may be unable to offer you some of our functionalities, services or support.
